PTFE and PVDF Membrane

As we all know, the PTFE and the PVDF membrane are hydrophobic, and Membrane Solutions has the hydrophilic PTFE membrane filter and syringe filter. The big difference between PTFE and PVDF is that the PTFE membrane can be used for the filtration of strong acid and aggressive solutions, but the PVDF membrane is suited for filtration of non-aggressive aqueous and mild organic solutions.

Also there are some similarities between these two membranes. Both of them binding ability is low and they all have good chemical compatibility. They all can be used for the filtration of gas and air.
